Cuddle alert! Having recently acclimated to the winter weather in Minnesota from the streets of Tijuana, Adora (Zadie) is ready to charm and adore your family! She is immediately social with all dogs and people and civil with cats. Born approximately May 2022, she is fully grown at 35 pounds and 17” height at her shoulders. She is housebroken and likes sleeping in until 8:00 am in her doggy bed or with her human. She jumps straight into play mode with toys and chews on the ball. She loves to take walks and trips to the dog park to socialize with other humans and dogs. Her recall is coming along nicely. She’s slowly learning new commands but we think she may know some Spanish. She has the smarts to learn even more commands with a committed instructor if you speak some Spanish. Born to snuggle and play, her best space would be shared with another dog who is receptive to play or visits dog friends daily! She is curious about our cat but is scared of her as well. She needs a fenced-in yard and preferably someone who works from home to cuddle with her throughout the day. Super soft and sweet and sticks her tongue out when she sleeps! She is a perfect goofball full of love and the perfect size.

I’m Hank, and I’m a 42lb shepherd mix. The first thing you’ve probably noticed about me is my striking gaze! I am confident that you will fall under the spell of my amber eyes. If that’s not enough to sell you on this, let me tell you a bit more about myself…:

I was born approx. May 3rd, 2022 (best guess but can never be sure) and I came from a shelter in Mexico. I’m here with hopes of having better luck finding my fur-ever home. Even though I’ve spent most of my life in the shelter, it hasn’t managed to damper my spirit and disposition. If anything, it’s only made me even more eager to be part of a loving family! I’m not materialistic and would rather cuddle with my humans than play with toys. I have so much love built up to share with you! But don’t worry, I won’t get upset when you have to leave for work. I am crate-trained and will stay calm and quiet until you come home. I look forward to showing you how well I behave on my leash. I also have some neat tricks to show you! I know “sit” and “lay down,” but quite possibly the most impressive is that I can catch treats in the air! I’m a natural!
I haven’t met any kids or cats yet, but since I’m well-mannered and friendly, my foster mom thinks I’ll do just fine. **I have the opportunity to meet a kitty soon and will give an update on how it goes!
If you are looking for an affectionate companion to bask in the sunshine with, I’m your perfect guy!

My name is Mateo but my foster mom calls me Shorty, probably because of my short legs. I am a basset hound but my face looks a lot like a German shepherd. I’m very sweet and affectionate. They think I'm around 1-2 years old. I sleep quietly in my crate at night and I haven’t had any accidents at my foster mom's house.

When a rescue in Mexico found me, I had been living on the streets and struggling to find meals. I traveled a pretty far distance: from Mexico to the Midwest in search of a family and stability.
Because of my past with food insecurity, I don’t know how to share snacks/treats/etc with others. Please be patient as I try to overcome this, and help set me up for success by not having me in situations where there could be “food scuffles” with other pets. (Thank you in advance for making sure that my needs are met and I don’t have to go hungry anymore!)
I have a lot of energy, but that’s part of my charm! I’m a silly boy and you’re guaranteed to laugh. I’m smart as a whip and can learn tricks and commands quite well. Although I’m high-energy, I also have great regulation skills and can calm down when it’s time for cuddles.
I may have left a warmer climate, but I am still in search of a warm HOME. Will you open your doors and your hearts to me?
